6 Year Term President

I completely disagree with having a 6 year term President. I feel that the way it is now should not change. 6 years at once is too much. If people feel that the President is a good enough president then they will re-elect him and he can have an additional  years. That's 8 years of learning and helping his/her country. If the term gets changed to 6 years, it will not be good because if the president isn't doing a good job, that's just a longer term for him/her to screw up. I think there's nothing wrong with sticking with 4 year term.

  1. I do not agree. During that time period the president doesn't really have enough time to make a real change because they are too busy running for reelection. If the pres. starts to screw up, we can always impeach him or her.

  2. I agree because even if a president screws up in a six year term, they won't always get impeached because they didn't commit a crime. Four year term is more so a break to see if we want to keep the President around, or if they weren't doing a good enough job the first time around.
